Youth Discipleship

At The Church of the Cross, we are prayerfully seeking to transform youth, from infants to teens, with the Gospel, building world-changers for life as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Nursery & Sunday School

At The Church of the Cross, we know how important children are, so we strive to offer them a solid Biblical foundation while having fun. We believe that showing children God’s unfailing love for them and equipping them with the knowledge and love for Christ.

Crawlers (Ages 0-4)

Historic Campus @10:00 am | CrossPoint @10:30 am

This is our nursery program for infants–4 year olds. We have a trained staff who provide a fun environment full of songs and story times for the children where they will hear the gospel from an early age.

Explorers (Ages 5-8)

CrossPoint @10:30 am

This class uses Seedbed Kids curriculum, a three-year program that surveys the Old Testament, New Testament, and Christian Living. Children will learn about God’s love for them through age-leveled lessons that can be applied to their everyday lives.

Navigators (Ages 9-11)

CrossPoint @10:30 am

This class uses Foundation Worldview curriculum, which builds upon a child’s knowledge of God and prepares them to live as faithful believers in the world.

Sunday School

Historic Campus @10:00 am

Our Sunday School meets together with children in PK4-5th grade. We start each class with a time of worship and a Bible story followed by a game, activity or craft. The class then joins their families in the church for communion every week.

Additional Youth Groups

Student Ministry members

Middle & High School Youth groups

The heartbeat of our Student Ministry are the weekly youth group meetings for middle and high school students.

High schoolers meet on Sundays, 6 to 8pm.
Middle schoolers (5th-8th grade) meet on Wednesdays, 6 to 8 pm.

Location: 15 B Centre Drive (Youth space next to God’s Goods Thrift Store)

These get-togethers include games and fun, time to just hang and chat, dinner, worship, and a Bible lesson with application followed by small group discussion.

Cross Trek is a place designed for students to grow in faith, be authentic, and build lasting community together. Every youth night, we eat dinner together, hear meaningful messages, and break into small groups for discussion

Get Involved with Our Ministries

One of the most important ways to get connected at The Church of the Cross is to first become a member of our congregation. If you are not a member and you are interested in learning more about membership, please call the Parish Office (843.757.2661) and speak to Sue.

Membership begins with an informal meeting with clergy. The next step in getting connected would be joining a Bible Study or small group to be in community with other Believers.

The Church of the Cross Locations

The Church of the Cross is situated across 3 distinct campuses. View our locations below:

Pray

Want us to pray for someone in need? Submit a prayer request (with their permission) and your prayer will be communicated with our clergy, Church staff, and Intercessory Prayer Team volunteers.

The person will remain on the prayer list for four weeks or until the office is notified otherwise.

Give

Everything we own and everything we have comes from God. So, when we give, we simply offer him a small portion of the abundance he has already given to us.

Giving is an expression of our thankfulness and praise to God, and there are various ways to give at The Church of the Cross.
