Missions Outreach Board
As Christians, we are called to engage in missions that:
- Proclaim the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ
- Invite ongoing partnerships to work together for God’s kingdom
- Use our unique gifts to meet the world’s needs
We believe that Mission is God’s work for God’s world. Responding to the call of Jesus Christ, we are each called to reach out in love to those in need, both near and far. The Missions Outreach Board works to facilitate mission work through the distribution of funds received from the sale of goods at God’s Goods Thrift Store and to solicit from our parishioners mission and outreach opportunities in our surrounding communities, the nation and the world.
Missions Outreach Board operates in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Strategy of The Church of the Cross, under the guidance of the Rector and Vestry of The Church of the Cross and our Mission Statement.

Get Involved with Our Ministries
One of the most important ways to get connected at The Church of the Cross is to first become a member of our congregation. If you are not a member and you are interested in learning more about membership, please call the Parish Office (843.757.2661) and speak to Sue.
Membership begins with an informal meeting with clergy. The next step in getting connected would be joining a Bible Study or small group to be in community with other Believers.
